Stephansplatz U-Bahn Station, situated under the square with the same name, is the junction of metro lines U1 and U3, and one of the primary access points to the historical centre of Vienna. Neighbouring stations on U-Bahn line U1 are Karlsplatz and Schwedenplatz, on line U3 they are Herrengasse and Stubentor.
