Wien Traisengasse Station is a station on the Stammstrecke (the main corridor of S-Bahn trains running through Vienna city), between Praterstern Station and Handelskai Station. Traisengasse is a street in the 20th district, Wien-Brigittenau, located north of Innere Stadt. Other major streets near Wien Traisengasse Station include Dresdner Strasse, Pasettistrasse, and Rebhanngasse. Other places near Traisengasse Station are Bezirksmuseum Brigittenau (Brigittenau District Museum) and Mortarapark.
Brigittenau district and Traisengasse Station are outside the main tourist areas in Vienna. This is mainly a business district and tourist infrastructure is low.
