As its name suggests, the railway station Wien-Mitte is probably the most centrally located of all Viennese train stations. You can find Wien-Mitte Station in the eastern part of Vienna Inner City. Besides train traffic the station also serves as an U-Bahn (metro) hub with access to lines U3 and U4. The station is also known as Landstrasse Station (particularly for local transport) or Landstrasse/Wien-Mitte. Landstrasse is the name of the district, which stretches from Wien-Mitte Station to the east.
Because of its location in Vienna city centre, Wien-Mitte Station has excellent accommodation options. There are many hotels of all categories and styles close to Wien-Mitte Station: budget hotels, 3 star, 4 star hotels, and also a few luxury 5 star hotels. You will find both small family run hotels and those operated by Austrian or international hotel chains. Most hotels are located around Stadtpark (City Park) and in the area between Wien-Mitte Train Station and Stubentor U-Bahn Station (Weisskirchnerstrasse, Am Stadtpark, Parkring, or Stubenring Street).
